Emma Darvick is an illustrator and designer based in Kingston, New York (previously in Brooklyn). She was previously a senior designer at Marriott, and before that at Meredith Corporation, an American Media company where she created custom editorial illustration and design for several magazines including Real Simple, Health, Parents, Shape, Martha Stewart Living, Better Homes & Gardens and Southern Living.

A lifelong dream came true when Chasing Paper’s founder approached her to design a line of 90’s inspired wallpaper. Emma’s designs quickly sold out and were featured in Vogue, Teen Vogue, Better Homes & Gardens, Martha Stewart Living and Glamour Magazine. Emma is one of the top featured Giphy artists with her work garnering nearly 4 billion views.

Emma has been creating art for most of their life and in 2009 she received her BA in Fine Arts with a focus in painting. In 2013 she entered the digital world. Her prints quickly began started selling launching her freelance career down many exciting paths.

Emma draws inspiration from the strength, vulnerability and overall badassery, female and queer empowerment. She loves bright palettes and finds joy in bold black and white imagery.

In her down time Emma loves making art and potions, designing altars, reading Tarot, learning to tattoo and revels in nature while taking walks along the Hudson River.
